Automotive fuel additives

 

RE Specialty Chemicals have a range of products to provide improvements to automotive fuels.

 

Examples are:

 

Dehazers - removes water from fuels to enhance fuel brightness and clarity, and allow use of detergents in performance fuels

 

Rust inhibitors - these additives prevent corrosion, providing protection from refinery to fuel tank, and helps to enable important ASTM standards to be met.

 

Lead replacement additives - to protect older engines from valve seat recession, providing the key lead replacement component in Lead Replacement Petrol (LRP).

 

Stability additives - provides improvements to fuel stability in line with international standards.  Specific products available for a range of fuels including Biofuels
